FALANIKO VITALE

Hawaii native Falaniko Vitale is an experienced athlete who recently celebrated ten years as a professional fighter. He represents 808 Fight Factory, one of the toughest fight gyms on the Islands, which also features veteran fighters like Ronald Jhun, as well as Shine veterans Ed Newalu and Harris Sarmiento.

“Niko,” known for his well-rounded skills, brute strength, and incredible heart, has fought for some of the most well-known promotions in the world. Fans of King of the Cage, Rage in the Cage, SuperBrawl, Icon Sport, the IFL, Strikeforce, and the UFC have all witnessed his fight skills. Vitale has also taken on some of the top names in the sport, including Robbie Lawler, recent Strikeforce Middleweight title challenger Jason “Mayhem” Miller, MMA pioneer Jeremy Horn, Strikeforce/UFC veteran Trevor Prangley, and UFC fighter Frank Trigg. He has beaten notable fighters such as UFC veteran Aaron Riley, former UFC Middleweight Champion Dave Menne, UFC middleweight contender Yushin Okami, and Strikeforce Middleweight contender Matt Lindland.

Vitale has won five of his past seven fights, and is looking to make a name for himself in Shine. But most importantly, he wants to represent his native Hawaii with pride and honor.
